Preimenopause or Menopause is not just about our ovaries – declining estrogen affects our sleep, blood vessels, heart, liver, muscles, insulin production, joints and ligaments too. All of these factors impact our weight gain in mid-life. Some women even start to see changes as early as 40, this stage before Menopause is called Perimenopause. Perimenopause and Menopause are important transitions in women's lives.
Exercise isn't a proven way to reduce perimenopause or menopausal symptoms, such as hot flashes and sleep disturbances. However, regular exercise can help you maintain a healthy weight, relieve stress and improve your quality of life. I created the MenoBlast program for women 40+ for this exact reason and who are limited on time but still want to Lose Fat and Get Lean and Stay Healthy.
HIIT: Is an anaerobic exercise program which consists of alternating short bursts of intense exercise with periods of lower intensity exercise or rest.
My HIIT360 online program and the live streaming private group classes are my own specialized fat burning programs. The high intensity periods create a demand on the body which is effective for long-term fat loss and overall conditioning. The lower intensity periods are your transitioning from one exercise to another and/or active rest stage. My HIIT360 programs are extremely efficient, and will give you a bigger and better training effect with less time spent. Even after a HIIT session, your body’s energy requirements can remain high for up to 2 hrs.
Results will vary depending on the individual starting point, what the end goal is and the intensity level. What you get out of it depends on how much you put into it.

Nutrition is a major factor in health and fitness. High Intensity Interval Training Workouts (less than 1hr in length) need both Simple Carbs and Proteins. Clients should follow a well rounded nutrition plan with whole grains, fruits, veggies and lean protein. A well rounded nutrition plan includes carbs, proteins and healthy fats to provide adequate energy and fuel for workouts and to help clients achieve the best results.
